Rural Youth Europe, Finland 4H and Finlands svenska 4H warmly invite up to 2 participants from each member organisation to Finland for the Autumn Seminar 2026: ”AI and I: Training our Critical Eye!”
The seminar will take place from 10–17 October 2026 in Tammela, Finland, surrounded by beautiful Finnish forests and lakes. The deadline to register is 12th July 2026.
Throughout the week, participants will explore the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence, digitalisation, and disinformation while working together to create an innovative educational game for young people across Europe. Using non-formal education methods, design thinking, and gamification, participants will gain practical skills in critical thinking, digital literacy, and content creation.
By the end of the seminar, participants will have played an active role in developing a practical educational tool that youth organisations across Europe can use to strengthen critical thinking and responsible digital engagement.
Participants can look forward to inspiring workshops on AI and digital media, hands-on game design sessions, intercultural exchange, and unforgettable outdoor experiences in the stunning Finnish countryside. And let’s be honest, how often do you get the chance to create a game that could be played by young people all across Europe?
Registration is now open and will close by 12th July! Please fill in the form below.
Fs4H will pay the participation fee for the two participants. Plus a travel reimbursement of up to 300 euros per participant is foreseen. Participants are encouraged to choose the most economical travel option.
